First Term:
Since the beginning of time the human being has looked for ways to make life more comfortable and survive in a more efficient way, thanks to this idea our concept of technology and technology arises.
said technology over time has created various forms of entertainment for the enjoyment of the different users who use it, among the different ways we can find:
-the tv
-the Internet
-the movies
-the videos
and of which we will focus on this blog, video games.

video games or etymologically speaking video games, is an electronic game in which one or more people interact through a controller (s), a screen and software.
It can be presented in different types of electronic devices such as:
a computer, an arcade machine, a game console or a portable device (a mobile phone, for example)
In this research we will observe the different types of impacts, causes and other issues related to video games, addictions to it and secondary symptoms to the high exposure to these.
also we will give recommendations for the proper use of video games in our day to day and various studies on population-use.
the relationship of videogames and the world of entertainment:
Since the beginning of the first computers and the massive use of the Internet that humanity had since the twentieth century, video games have been part of homes and have been the adoration of children and young people, and headaches for many parents.
and at that time pc games were created, which consisted of tapes or hard disks where information and different codes used in programming video games stored.
Since then the different types of electronic devices were created to open up in a new and booming market, which were video games.
already today there are different adaptations for different games and a wider access than in past decades, in addition to having different types of advertising such as advertisements, comics, posters, among others.
The great impact on people's lives:
The video game industry is one of the most changing and evolving in recent times, the number of people who frequent the use of video games as a means of entertainment is increasing
It is estimated that in Colombia most of the people who make use of their games on mobile devices and consoles, specifically 62.7% of them, do so to pass the time or when they are unemployed.
In addition, 54% of people consulted between 18 and 24 years old said they played on a cell phone or a console at the time of the survey, as well as 49% between 25 and 34 years, 36% between 35 and 44 years , 33% between 45 and 44 years old and 32% among those over 55 years old. Among those who play 56% are men and 44% are women.
Popular video games such as Candy Crush, Fifa 18, Pokémon Go and Clash of Clans, are among the most played by Colombians.
89% of respondents play when they are at home, 23% in transportation, 22% at friends' homes and 11% at work.
therefore most of us are exposed to a lot of content, stories, and / or different forms of implicit or explicit violence within video games, for this reason the use of videogames is very questioned nowadays.
